WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE
UNION COUNTY SADDLE CLUB, INC.

The Union County Saddle Club was organized in 1986 in Blairsville, Georgia, by a group of interested people under encouragement of the Blairsville Kiwanis Club. The purpose of the Saddle Club is to promote the equine industry and recreation. Our top priority is to benefit the health, safety, and welfare of the horse and rider of all skill levels. The Union County Saddle Club is dedicated to adding value to our fellow horsemen and to our local community as well. We are a non-profit [Section 501 (c) 3] community based, family oriented organization comprised of all volunteer members that are dedicated to the education and skill development in all disciplines pertaining to equine activities. Our club operates in Northeast Georgia and falls under the Union County Recreation Department.

Throughout the spring and summer season, we host a number of different events such as horse shows, barrel racing events, invitational shows for the handicapped, a rodeo, trail rides, clinics and exhibitions, and the annual Christmas Dinner and Awards Presentation. The club has always been strong supporters of the local 4-H club. We also participate in parades just for fun.

Meetings are held at the clubhouse on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
